The registration of all NCV & NATED courses will start on 08 January 2018.



NSFAS, Your ticket to tertiary education

Are you in matric/grade 10, and need funding for your tertiary education? Be part of the NSFAS Student-centred Model – you can now apply online!

How to apply (new students & returning students)

• Go to – create MyNSFAS account/DHET;
• Enter personal details and allow NSFAS to verify and validate the information you have provided;
• If you don’t have an email address, simply create on the space provided;
• Once the registration process is complete, you will be directed to the MyNSFAS Dashboard page; and
• Then click apply to complete the application.

Documents needed
1. Your certified ID copy;
2. Results of your matric certificate or highest grade passed;
3. Certified ID copies of Parents/guardian;
4. Proof of residential address;
5. Proof of income for parents/guardian
6. Where applicable, provide;
• Copies of death certificate(s) if parent(s) are deceased;
• SASSA letter if parents are pensioners;
• Affidavit if your parents/guardians are self employed;
• Household member certified copies (ID/birth certificate/proof of registration where applicable) Students with disability: Please complete the relevant supporting documents (see website for details)
and submit them with your application form.

NB: Ensure that you have the relevant documents certified at your nearest police station/post office, and then scan and upload with your application. Provide the cellphone number that you will use for the duration of your course (all communication about your bursary will be forwarded to this number).
