Name Change From FET To TVET And Rebranding

FET Colleges are now known as Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Colleges. This name change is in line with international trends whereby institutions offering technical and vocational education and training are referred to as TVET Colleges. Please be informed that our college is now known as Coastal KZN TVET College.

The Department of Higher Education and Training is also re-branding Public TVET Colleges to strengthen and expand the Public TVET Colleges and turn them into attractive institutions of choice. For branding we now use two logos, the one for the college (on the left) and that of DHET (on the right). This will assist in identifying and hopefully improving the image of public colleges.

Co-branding applies to all official print and promotional material (letterheads, brochures, reports, fax covers, memorandum, minutes, agendas, policy documents, forms, questionnaires, attendance registers, golf shirts, corporate gifts, pull-up banners, gazebos, decals and signage)

When using logos ensure that they are of the correct proportional size (neither stretched or skewed).
